Brightstar Resources’ three major development projects are Cork Tree Well, Beta and Alpha. Each project contains a Mineral Resource within 60km of Brightstar’s flagship 330ktpa+ processing plant, which is located adjacent to the Beta Project.
Brightstar Resources is currently developing a three-year plan to restore the Brightstar Plant to production and expand on the existing Mineral Resources at each of its projects.
All of Brightstar Resources’ tenements are located in the highly prospective north Laverton greenstone belt, at the southern extremity of the Duketon greenstone belt, in the north-eastern sector of the Eastern Goldfields Superterrane of the Yilgarn Craton. The Laverton greenstone belt is located in the central part of the east Yilgarn Craton, a major district of gold endowment. The east Yilgarn Craton hosts two world-class gold deposits, Sunrise Dam (~10.2 Moz) and Wallaby (~7.5 Moz), plus a series of smaller deposits including: Granny Smith (~2.7 Moz), Lancefield (~1.9 Moz) and Mt Morgan (1.79 Moz). The total gold endowment of the belt is likely in excess of 27 Moz.
