In Laverton, Brightstar Resources’ three major development projects are Cork Tree Well, Beta and Alpha. Each project contains a Mineral Resource within 60km of Brightstar’s flagship 485ktpa+ processing plant, which is located adjacent to the Beta Project.

At Brightstar’s Menzies Gold Project – a gold field which has historically produced 787,200oz at 18.9g/t Au from intermittent production between 1895-1995 – Brightstar has a 50:50 profit sharing JV with BML Ventures Pty Ltd to exploit the Selkirk deposit (MRE of 11,500oz at 2.15g/t Au). BML Ventures is responsible for all capital costs, mining and haulage and the JV has a toll treating agreement with St Barbara Ltd (ASX: SBM) to process ore from Selkirk at Leonora, ~100km north of Menzies

As an emerging gold developer, Brightstar Resources plans to expand the existing Mineral Resource inventory at each of its projects.

As announced in June 2023, Brightstar is has engaged independent experts to conduct a scoping study to assess the refurbishment of the Laverton processing plant and assessing opportunities for expansion of processing plant throughput to treat ore from the company’s combined 965koz Au mineral resource inventory.
